Cocoon is, as the branding suggests, first and foremost about effortless ease. Cocoon is quirky yet always elegant loungewear with fluid fits, comfy tops and heavenly stretch fabrics. The ranges take you from being the snazziest mom at the school run to a fabulous brunch with the girls. And let’s not forget about that Netflix date where you still want to look amazing but pretend that its oh-so-casual.
We have found a signature look with Cocoon that has over the years morphed into a staple in our customers wardrobes. Those black harem pants? Oh yes, they still work. That beautifully cut white top? Goes with everything. That black strappy dress? Can be worn to a birthday party or for a picturesque walk along the beach. You can dress it up or down by throwing over a new cardi or adding our latest statement accessories. These items are investment pieces and with our innovative layering mix and match across the ranges and outlast many seasons.
This Winter we are spreading our wings. While ensuring the concept of the comfortable capsule wardrobe, we have expanded the scope of our fabrics, finishes and styles.
This season you will find soft fleece, gorgeous striped ribs as well as beautifully washed cotton co-ords. Besides the always-works-black there are flattering berry colours, neutral sand, warm chocolate tones, moody blues and delightful buttery cream. Nicci Boutiques is celebrating Winter ’26 in Autumn hues - spice, pumpkin and burnished copper brighten tones of cocoa, smoky greys and black. We have added the Pantone Colour of the Year “Cloud Dancer”, a dreamy creamy shade of white, that will make you want to spend lazy evenings in front of wood fires.
African Winters however have many faces. The day might start with sub-zero temperatures but by noon the weather has warmed.
Africa is special that way and Nicci has a special way to navigate our temperamental climate:
Soft cozy knits combine with show-stopping statement pieces, must-have basics add warmth, pants are relaxed and comfortable. Layering with viscose, silk, mohair and bamboo is the trick to get fashionably through our diverse Winters.

Nicci has partnered with Fingertips of Africa, a women-led sewing cooperative, on a new collection of patchwork tote bags and scarves. Each piece is handmade using surplus fabric from its Nicci Local Love and Cocoon Loungewear ranges. The proceeds of this new collection will go to Chido, the lead seamstress at Fingertips of Africa, towards building a home. “A tribute to her dedication, strength and the community she uplifts. It’s more than just bricks and cement. It’s about honouring her legacy and the ripple effect of her work,” says Niki.
